    March 16, 2010 : Today was a match between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings in the DLF – IPL Season 3. This was the 8th match of the league. The match was played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. IPL Chennai won the toss and decided to bat first. M Vijay and Hayden oppened the batting for IPL Chennai Super Kings in their the 8th match at IPL Season 3, 2010. Electing to bat first, Chennai Super Kings lost Hayden and Vijay early in the 8th match of the IPL against Kolkata Knight Riders. Hayden was bowled by Ishant at just 1 run and M Vijay departs at 33 runs, he was bowled by Shukla. Suresh Raina took the charge of the IPL Chennai but could take only 18 runs against IPL Kolkata. Chennai’s woes deepen with the fall of Raina’s wicket. Top order was down for 55 runs in 9.1 overs. IPL Kolkata had tighten grip on IPL Chennai. Then Badrinath and MS Dhoni took the charge of the team. They started taking scores. MS Dhoni scored 66 runs including 6 fours and 3 sixes. And Badrinath scored 43 runs including 3 fours and 1 six. They made incredible 83 runs in last 6 overs.
