Jacob Oram Out of Champions Leauge
The New Zealand team all rounder Jacob Oram will miss the upcoming Champions League T20 due to his knee injury. He will have a surgery on his injured knee next week. That injury is ruled out him from Champions League.
The 32 years all rounder is key man for the New Zealand. Jacob Oram got injured in the training session as New Zealand team is prepaid for the final contest of Sri Lanka tri Series against India. The Knee problem is troubling the all rounder from a long time. He had some problems in the same knee before the T20 World Cup in the West Indies. Its not shower how long this injury will take to recover.
The New Zealand all rounder said “While I’m gutted to miss the Champions League with the Stags I’m thankful the medical specialist has found the problem now so we can get the right plans in place to get it right,” Oram said in a statement.
“I’ve been told that I should be realistically targeting the Pakistan homes series at the end of the year, but who knows, if surgery and rehab goes well I may be available for selection before the Indian tour in November.”
Oram said his run of injuries had been frustrating but he was confident of returning injury-free to represent his country.
